So she finally came!!! So I just had to show her of. I decided the best way to do this hair look was to go all black as it would provide the perfect background and exposure for the intense ombre on this wig. Although I still have a lot more plucking to do (as it is a middle parting) I could not resist a quick impromptu shoot.

Hey loves here is a quick snap of my current Jan/Feb favs……….

So all the above have been a major part of my skin care and make up looks. I recently decided to change my skin care products and invest my money in brands that I trusted and truly believed would make a difference in the way I clarify my skin and to help with my oilness and blemishes. After months or reading online reviews and skin care routine on Youtube I managed to scale it down to a few staples 

1.Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion

2.Clarins Pure melt Cleansing Gel with Marula Oil 

3.Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 

Korres Milk Proteins 3 in 1 Cleansing Emulsion is a creamy cleansing product rich in vegetable oils which allows the product to effectively cleanse, tone and moisturise. Relieving your skin of dirt, sebum build up and also eye makeup. This products natural ingredients also allows it to effectively hydrate your skin and nourish your natural oils.

The Clarins Pure melt Cleansing Gel with Marula Oil is like any other gel cleanser there has been a influx in these type of facial cleansers. They use a gel formula that allows your makeup to gently dissolve as you apply the product using the natural heat from your finger tips, using circular motions. This product can be used on sensitive skin, as many do not contain any harsh product that strip your skin of its naturals oils. 

The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair was bought as a present, so it was not a product I had not reviewed. I tend you use this product after my cleanser and toner. It stated it should be applied before moisturiser as it is a serum. As I have not been using it for a long period of time I cannot go into full depth of its properties however I can stated that since using this product I have noticed my blemishes are fading at quicker rate and my mid day oily breaks out have been minimal.

As for my beauty products my MAC skin finish has been a staple for many years. I use it to set my concealer if I am not wearing foundation and my foundation when I am. It is long lasting. And one of my MAC products I cannot afford to run out of. 

Moving on to my Zooeva products I have yet to use them so I cannot comment…..however I will be doing a make up look shortly so watch this space!!!

How did the Vanity Planet SPS fair? Worth the price? Easy to use?

The VP SPS Cleansing and Exfloaiting brush is nothing new to us beauty junkies out there after all it has competition from the original Clarasonic and the up coming and well advertised Magnitone. Which like the SPS have been advertised as an exfloaitor which can be used on all skin types. So what differs this product from the rest?

Lets start with the price as stated before this product comes with a 70% discount code (please check link on previous blog) based on this factor I bought this product for a cost of under £40 (BARGIN). My product arrived in immpecable packaging with the sepcified shipping time and came with clear detailed instruction. The only extra cost incurred was £4.99 for battery costs.

The results from using this product, I must state have been amazing. The brush does not have a harsh feel, but actively manages to clear pores and dead skin leaving your skin feeling clean and freas from all product/s and the texture soft to the touch. I did not experience any development of blemishes or redness after use. (not at the same time) to ensure I was getting the maximum cleansing experience from my SPS. This was done twice a week.

I choose to only use my SPS twice a week as I have oily skin and suffer from breakouts. Due to this it was advised by dermotoloigist I used the product on a minimal basis, to ensure any breakouts were not spread due to the slight pressure of my SPS on outer layers of my  skin.  After each use I also placed a cold facial cloth over my face to ensure all my pores were closed before I toned and moisturised.

This product was well worth the investment and I have advised many of my friends to take the leap and make a purchase. But lets not forget beauty also comes from within. Drinking up to two litres of water per day and eating healthy fresh produce is a must if your trying to attain a spot-free complexion.
